Big Builders Thrift Store Sale
Super 8 Staff
A big sale sponsored by Builders Thrift Store will take place on Saturday, September 29 from 9am - 3pm at The Riggins Storage units just south of Riggins on U.S. 95. This will be their latest sale of affordable, recycled building materials. There will be many new items and all prices will be cut to lower inventory for the winter. The Builders Thrift Store is run by a conservation-based nonprofit organization that exists to recycle used and excess building materials. For more info call 208-628-3780.

Cascade Cares Weekend

A big slate of events is in store at the Sixth Annual Cascade Lake Run set to run through Saturday Sept. 28 & 29 in Cascade. The fundraiser supports Cascade Cares Inc., which was established in 2002 to assist families experiencing a death, fire, major illness or other extenuating circumstances. Raffles, races, food and fun will fill the event. For more information, donations and participation call 208-315-1866.

Sept. 13 Meeting for Dorsey Warr Park Renovation

A community meeting to discuss the renovation of Dorsey Warr Park in New Meadows will be held Thursday, Sept. 13 at the New Meadows Depot. It will begin at 7pm and will seek comments for renovation of the park, which is located in the center of New Meadows along U.S. 95. All are invited and community input is most welcome.

Idaho First Bank's 2nd Annual Street Dance

There will be a street dance in McCall on Satruday, September 8 from 7 to 10pm and everyone is welcome! Idaho's First Bank is sponsoring the event and there will be food, festivities, dancing and fun for the kids. The dance will take place on Lenora St. between 2nd and 3rd Streets in downtown McCall. Come join the fun!
