Camiel Bruneel's Life and Times
Super 8 Staff
McCall resident Sharon Bruneel has published a book about the life of her husband's grandfather, Camiel Bruneel. "As Ever Yours" is the true story of Bruneel who was born in Elverdinge, West Flanders, Belgium in 1881. Although his father and his ancestors were poorfarmers, Bruneel caught the eye of a wealthy wood-carver's daughter. They married and had five children. This fascinating story spans the life of this family through World War II on the German front. The book can be purchased at McCall Drug in the local author's section.
