Cross Country Ski Races

December 16 at Jug Mountain Ranch will be the winter Start Cross Country Ski Race and then from 12:00 to 5:00 there will be a Nordic expo where some of the shops will bring skis to try out and folks will be there to give lessons.

PRiMo ski passes are now on sale. This pass is $125.00 for an individual and 250.00 for a family. It provides access to 100 kilometers of nordic ski trails in Valley County at Jug Mountain Ranch, the Activity Barn, Ponderosa State Park, Tamarack, plus alpine and nordic trails at the Little Ski Hill which includes Bear Basin. More info can be found online at www.littleskihill.org.
And don't miss the opening for the Bear Basin Cross Country ski area. Sat. 11/18 from 11:00 to 2:00. There will be hot beverages and refreshments in the yurt.

With the weather changing to colder skies, our local skiers and winter sports enthusiasts are gearing up for another winter wonderland in McCall Idaho. Skiers: don't forget we have a "ski room" off our lobby where you can care for your skis, apply wax, storage space and benches -- and much more. Stop by and give us a look!

New Tennis Courts

The McCall Donnelly High School will receive renovated tennis courts due to a donation made by the Board of Trustees in the amount of $3,000. The group will begin work in June on resurfacing the courts, and is interested in installing a 10- foot high fence, wind screens, benches and rollers. These generous improvements are a welcome addition to our growing, active and generous community.
