"Food for Fines" at Library

The Meadows Valley Public Library is offering an innovative new program to benefit the local Food Bank. For those with no fines to pay, donations will be accepted from all interested patrons. The foods accepted are nonperishable grocery items. This program will run through November 10, 2006. For more information call 347-3147.

"Make a Difference" Day

Calling all volunteers! Clean-up day will take place on October 28, headed by McCall Outdoor Science school faculty and Americorps members. Named "Make A Difference Day," volunteers will meet for the outing at 9am at The University of Idaho Field campus. Transportation, food and beverages will be provided. For more info call 634-3918.

Anne of Green Gables

Free performances of Anne of Green Gables will take place October 19 and 20 at The Cultural Hall in the LDS CHurch on Elo Rd. in McCall. Set in the town of Avonlea, the play is a delightful musical about an orphan with imagination and precarious charm. Many local participants will grace the stage and it is guaranteed to be an evening to remember.

Snowmobile Club Activities
Snowmobile trail clearing is underway in anticipation of Idaho's Winter Wonderland activities! Clearing will take place September 16 by members of the McCall Snowmobile Club. Members and other interested volunteers will meet at 8am at the Francis Wallace parking lot along Warren Wagon Road and at the West Face parking lot along Idaho 55 nearthe Brendage Mountain Turnoff.
