Snowboard Grand Prix

Looking ahead, Tamarack Resort has been named the final stop on the country's greatest snowboard competition series, the 2006-07 Chevrolet U.S. Snowboard Grand Prix! This is an exciting event for McCall so stay tuned as we continue with updates throughout the year.

Council Mountain Music Festival

The Council Mountain Music Festival will take place this weekend with live music at Courthouse Hill Park. Featured will be Charlie Ritch's rock band, Nikki Harvey, Lilly Moyer, Joseph Calahan, Luke Riehle and Scott Lundy. Andrew Anderson, from the Guitar Center will perform, as well as The Council Bluegrass Band. And many other musicians will perform at this all-our musical extravaganza - don't miss it!

Sweet Tooth!

Sweet Temptations will hold a fundraiser for the Little Ski Hill on Friday (Aug. 18) from 6:30 - 9pm. The summer-evening stroll at Brown Park goes past tables of savory desserts, cheeses and wines. There will be a silent auction and raffle which includes a three-day raft trip, ski passes, golf, dining and art. The :Ott;e Ski Hill has been the heart of McCall's community recreating since the 1930s and produced olympic skiers.

Idaho NRA Dinner

As usual, there is so much going on this summer in McCall! A dinner and auction to benefit the Idaho Heartland Friends of the NRA will take place this Saturday evening at The Hunt Lodge beginning at 6pm. The grand prize drawing for this event is a custom Weatherby .270 WSM stainless Vanguard rifle package featuring a scope, laminated stock, NRA sling and hard case. For more information call 634-2293.
